Liz and Richard 30th August 2010 Moxhull Hall Hotel Sutton Coldfield

On Bank Holiday Monday 30th August 2010 I was the wedding photographer for Liz and Richard at Moxhull Hall Hotel Sutton Coldfield.  At last a day where we did not have to dodge the showers - fantastic!  So Liz and Richard were able to have an outdoor civil ceremony in the beautiful woodland setting of Moxhull Hall Hotel where they were looked after by the marvellous Emma!  Some 75 guests enjoyed the sun along with drinks and canopes on the well appointed patio at Moxhull Hall.  Liz, who is a phychologist, looked amazing in her Berketex dress, whilst Richard, a Scientist, wore a grey suit with a dark red tie.

This was a very relaxed and sophisticated event which I thoroughly enjoyed.  Liz and Richard were due to go to Montana in the US for their much anticipated honeymoon.

Claire and Tom 29th August 2010 St Michael's Church Boldmere and The Ramada Jarvis Hotel Sutton Coldfield

On Sunday 29th August 2010 I was the wedding photographer for Claire and Tom at St. Michael's Church in Bolmere and The Ramada Jarvis Hotel Sutton Coldfield.  St. Michael's Church is a lovely parish church in Boldmere, and although the day started off rather rainy, it cleared well to leave us with a very sunny afternoon by the time we arrived at he Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Penns Lane for the reception.  Claire, who is a Programme Co-ordinator, and Tom, an Aircraft Engineer, shared their wedding day with around 80 guests.  The navy blue and white colour theme really looked smart.  The bride arrived in a horse and carraige, which was booked as a surprise for her, with the bridesmaids arriving in a Vintage Rolls Royce.

Claire's Mom, Patricia, made the wedding cake, and did all the flowers, bouquets, etc. - they looked amazing! Thailand was the honeymoon destination for Claire and Tom.

Laura and Greg 28th August 2010 Middleton Church and Moxhull Hall Hotel Sutton Coldfield

On Saturday 28th August I was the wedding photographer for Laura and Greg at Middleton Church and Moxhull Hall Hotel Sutton Coldfield.  A lovely couple, Laura and Greg had their wedding ceremony at the ancient and picturesque village church of Middleton near Tamworth, followed by a reception at the wonderful Moxhull Hall Hotel, where Emma looked after them fantastically - as ever!  A pretty showery day did not spoil events as we managed to dodge the showers and still get some great wedding photographs.  Laura looked stunning in her wedding dress supplied by Red Rose Bridal Ltd of Boldmere Sutton Coldfield, whilst the bridesmaids wore black and ivory.  The couple had hired two vintage Rolls Royces which matched the colour theme.

Some 80 guests enjoyed the day with Laura and Greg.  Laura, who is an IT Support Officer, and Greg, an Import/Export Officer were going to New York and Hawaii for the honeymoon.

Natasha and James 28th August 2010 The Lord Leycester Hospital Warwick

On Saturday 28th August Andrew was the wedding photographer for Natasha and James at a new venue to us - the Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick.  The Lord Leycester Hospital made a stunning venue for the wedding photographs, and Andrew took full advantage of that.  Natasha and James, who are both accountants (in fact James was Natasha's boss!), enjoyed a civil ceremony with about 60 guests, followed by a wedding breakfast.  The wedding car, a Bentley, was owned by James' father.

The Bride and Groom extended the wedding celebrations by having a B-B-Q the next day at the farm where James' parents live - Andrew covered part of this as well.  Natasha and James were due to go to Bhutan, India and Sri Lanka for a 4 week honeymoon - how lovely!

Laura and Carl 27th August 2010 Guardian Angels Church and The Manor Meriden

On Friday 27th August I was the wedding photographer for Laura and Carl at Guardian Angels Church, Shard End, and The Manor Hotel Meriden.  This ornate Roman Catholic church was the setting for Laura and Carl's wedding ceremony, followed by the wedding reception at the Manor Hotel Meriden.  Laura's bridal preparations had been at her parents' home in Sutton Coldfield.

The couple had a best man, three ushers, two bridesmaids, two flowergirls and their son Joshua as a little pageboy. The colour scheme was fuchsia pink and lime green which really worked well.  Our old friends from Celebration Cars supplied the vintage Rolls Royce.

Laura, who is a Staff Nurse, and Carl, a driver, like to keep fit in their spare time, and spend time with Joshua of course.
